On 18 May, a new research project, GODINEST, will be introduced at the School of Theology and Religious Studies.

The project “The sign “God” in post-secular Estonia – a critical-hermeneutical and constructive contribution to conviviality of the religious and the secular in liberal democracy” explores how religious and non-religious people can coexist in today’s liberal democracies.

In addition to introducing the GODINEST project, the programme includes an academic lecture by project member Margus Ott titled “Complex Adaptive Systems and the Philosophy of Religion”.

The event will be held in Estonian. Coffee and cake will be served at the University Café after the event.

This event is supported by the Estonian Research Council grant (PRG3064).
