Alumna Dace Balode was elected dean of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Latvia

Starting from 1 July this year dr. theol. Dace Balode will step into office as the dean of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Latvia. She will be the first woman and also the first non-ordained person in this position.

Dace Balode acquired her doctorate in the Faculty of Theology of the University of Tartu in 2006 by defending her thesis "Gottesdienst in Korinth“ (Worship in Corinth).
