On May 28 and 29 the conference of Estonian-Latvian doctoral students in theology and religious studies was held for the second time. If last year the venue was Pühajärve Holiday Resort, this year the web environment BigBlueButton according to the situation. Although it was not without technical failures, the general impression was good and the conference was captivating. Thanks to the web, all participants were in one (digital) room - it turned out that our doctoral students are located not only in Tartu and Riga (nor in Estonia and Latvia), but also in Japan, Russia (even Siberia - Irkutsk) and New Zealand! 18 reports reached from ancient Mesopotamia to today's epidemic era. As it is an overview of doctoral students' progress in their work, which is also listened to by supervisors, the conference has a very practical value. In the future, it is planned to make such a spring meeting a part of a joint module in the doctoral curricula of theology and religious studies of the universities of Tartu and Latvia. Hopefully in the future it will be possible to meet in some physical space that allows for normal social interaction!
